This position is integral to ensuring that our technology meets and exceeds the expectations of our stakeholders and end-users. By owning and refining our CI/CD pipelines, you will not only rely on data and system performance metrics but also on your keen insights into the rapidly evolving landscape of DevOps practices. Your responsibility is to seamlessly merge the needs of our customers with the technical possibilities, ensuring that our systems always remain cutting-edge, reliable, and efficient. Main Duties and Responsibilities Continuously refine and enhance our CI/CD pipelines to simplify the product release and deployment processes, ensuring that priorities align with system performance metrics and feedback from stakeholders.Work closely with software engineering teams, translating the needs into tasks, actionable configurations, specifications, and automation scripts.Oversee the end-to-end delivery cycle of infrastructure and deployment features, ensuring their readiness for production use and the internal team's preparedness.Continuously develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline product releases and deployments.Establish testing and sandboxing environments to ensure reliable and stable product development and deployment.Establish proper logging, monitoring, and alerting for our products to maintain high system reliability and performance.Enable practices of multi-instance environments with load balancing, ensuring redundancy, stability, and scalability.Ensure that our systems and processes adhere to the highest industry standards and best practices in security, governance and continuous delivery.Stay informed about technology trends and requirements, collaborating with the team to adapt and improve based on this knowledge. Qualifications & Skills Required Proficiency in DevOps engineering practices across Linux (preferably Debian-based) server administration, containerization, and orchestration. In-depth knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipeline design (GitLab CI or equivalent), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar). Demonstrated proficiency configuring and maintaining GitLab (or equivalent Git platform), including runners, project access tokens, and merge request automation. Hands-on experience building custom pipelines including security scanners and AI agents. Working knowledge of networking, firewalls, and VPN technologies in a segmented, multi-site environment. A minimum of 4 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineer role. Fluent in English with good communication skills. Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach. Can work independently according to set goals. Excellent collaboration and coordination skills across development, security, and business teams. Strong analytical skills and business understanding. High ethical standards and professional integrity. Comprehensive knowledge of the software development life cycle and secure-by-design principles. Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, telecom, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Desirable The following qualifications will be considered as a plus: Experience implementing and operating a Web Application Firewall (WAF). Experience designing or supporting multi-region / high-availability deployment architectures. A strong understanding of cloud service providers, particularly AWS (CloudTrail, GuardDuty, IAM hardening) and Azure/Microsoft 365. Exposure to cloud security posture management tooling and SIEM platforms. Experience supporting NIS2, ISO/IEC 27001, or similar compliance and audit evidence programmes. Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as Proxmox and mesh VPN overlays such as Tailscale. Maritime experience. AI-driven development and DevOps practices experience (e.g. AI-assisted code review, MCP-based tooling).
