Description

Python Developer / Engineer (SQL ETL) London to £150k+ Are you a data savvy Python Developer? You could be joining a Hedge Fund with complex work and substantial bonus earning potential. As a Python Developer you will develop and optimise the data platform, maintaining high standards across design, implementation, testing and CI/CD. You'll focus on data quality and operational reliability while enhancing a range of existing technologies, including microservices, ETL processes and Excel add-ins, working collaboratively through code reviews and shared problem solving. You'll also improve the underlying software infrastructure, including Infrastructure as Code, disaster recovery and observability. This will involve managing logs, alerts and monitoring, supporting Windows and Linux servers, resolving network and system issues, and maintaining databases through backups and replication. Alongside development, you'll support the ongoing operation of the platform, monitoring system health, carrying out regular checks and troubleshooting issues to maintain reliability. You'll provide technical support to users and respond to ad hoc queries and requests, helping ensure the platform remains stable, resilient and effective. Location / WFH: You'll join colleagues in the impressive Central London office on a fulltime basis, Monday to Friday.
