Description

We are looking for strong Java candidates with knowledge of Apache Flink and experience with AWS services (EKS, S3, etc.). Our application focuses heavily on file processing. Required Skills Core Engineering Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming.Ability to write custom frameworks and reusable components.Data & File Processing Hands-on experience with file handling and processing on VSIs and Amazon S3.Proven experience with large-file processing at scale.Working knowledge of Apache Flink (recommended).Hands-on experience with messaging and streaming technologies such as MQ and/or Kafka.Cloud & Architecture Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native application development.Working knowledge of AWS (recommended).Experience designing highly resilient, share-nothing, multi-region architectures.Ways of Working & Tooling Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and/or Claude.Experience working in Agile, self-managing teams.Job Description Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java backend services.Engineer large-scale file handling and processing across VSIs and Amazon S3, and build streaming/batch pipelines with Apache Flink on AWS.Deploy on Kubernetes using cloud-native patterns, with share-nothing, multi-region architecture for fault tolerance, high availability, and disaster recovery.Develop robust REST APIs, enforcing best practices for security, scalability, versioning, documentation, and error handling.Integrate and manage service registries for dynamic service discovery in microservices environments.Use AI-assisted tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude) to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
