About The Role We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our dynamic development team at Samprasoft. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications tailored to our clients' needs. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze end-user and client requirements, translating them into functional and efficient code. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including testers, designers, and project managers, to ensure the successful delivery of software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong programming skills, a solid understanding of web technologies, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience and training.Between 3 to 5 years of proven experience in software development and programming.Proficiency in PHP, with extensive experience in the Slim Framework.Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS is a plus.Experience with database design, modeling, and maintenance, particularly with relational databases.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.Experience with migrating legacy PHP applications to newer versions is advantageous. Responsibilities Analyze client and end-user needs to develop detailed specifications and technical solutions.Design, develop, and implement new software components, reports, and system modules in accordance with company and department standards.Write clean, scalable, and efficient code, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.Conduct thorough testing of all developed code, including unit testing and integration testing.Collaborate with quality assurance teams to perform regression testing and ensure software quality.Engage with clients and end-users to gather feedback and ensure that delivered solutions align with their requirements.Assist in troubleshooting complex issues, providing technical guidance to junior team members, and supporting ongoing maintenance activities.Implement relational database design and perform database backup and maintenance tasks as needed.Document system functionalities, technical specifications, and operational procedures in compliance with company and client standards.Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to recommend enhancements and improvements.Participate in planning, designing, and evaluating new software projects, potentially leading specific initiatives.Serve as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced developers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
