For our Boxmeer location, we are seeking a Planner Site Engineering Welcome to Our Team The Site Engineering (SE) department is part of the Center of Excellence (CoE) Capital Investment (CI) organization and supports the Dutch Animal Health sites in delivering capital investment projects. The department provides project management and project engineering support for a wide range of technical projects across Manufacturing, Research & Development, and Animal Research & Development. Each year, Site Engineering manages a portfolio of approximately 200 projects. Within this dynamic environment, you will play a key role in planning, monitoring, and optimizing engineering capacity to ensure projects are delivered successfully and on time. About The Role As a Planner Site Engineering, you are responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing project and resource plans within the Site Engineering department. You provide up-to-date visibility into available capacity, employee utilization, and the progress of both ongoing and future projects. You serve as the central point of contact for resource planning and support project managers in developing and maintaining project schedules. Through your understanding of capacity, priorities, and project dependencies, you proactively identify constraints and work closely with stakeholders to implement effective solutions. In addition, you provide critical management information to support decision-making regarding project priorities, team allocation, and the Long Range Capital Plan. You combine strong analytical skills with excellent communication abilities and can translate complex planning challenges into practical actions. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate resource planning for all Site Engineering projects and provide transparency on available departmental capacity.Support project managers in developing, maintaining, and optimizing project schedules throughout the entire project lifecycle.Analyze capacity challenges, project dependencies, and resource conflicts, and develop appropriate solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.Provide weekly reporting on resource planning, utilization, and project status to management and key stakeholders.Monitor, track, and report KPIs related to planning, capacity management, and project progress.Serve as the Site Engineering subject matter expert for planning methodologies, resource planning, and planning tools such as Microsoft Project.Participate in regular meetings with SPOCs, Project Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and other stakeholders regarding ongoing and future projects.Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and contribute to the further professionalization of project and resource planning within the department. What We Ask of You Bachelor's degree (HBO level) in a relevant technical, logistics, or business-related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Planner within a project-driven organization, preferably in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, or process industries.Demonstrated experience with resource planning, capacity management, and project scheduling.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel.Knowledge of Lean methodologies; Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification is considered an advantage.Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify and communicate complex planning challenges.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.Fluent in English, written and spoken.Proactive, results-oriented, decisive, and possessing strong organizational skills.
