Description

Description: We are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to support a major enterprise re-platforming initiative focused on the modernization of ESB services. You will work on a Java/Spring Boot connectivity module responsible for exposing application data through web services, Kafka and MQ Series, as well as processing incoming events through Kafka, Denodo, MQ Series and REST APIs. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend components using Java and Spring Boot.Develop interfaces within the connectivity module.Apply Object-Oriented Programming, design patterns and software design principles.Build robust and maintainable application components.Develop interfaces for receiving and importing data into enterprise applications.Work with REST APIs, Web Services, Kafka, MQ Series and Denodo.Support event-driven integrations between internal and external systems.Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing practices.Support test automation and software quality activities.Support Jenkins-based CI/CD, build, deployment and release automation.Use GitHub for source control and release management.Collaborate with technical teams and contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation.Mandatory Requirements 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.Strong Java backend development experience.Strong Spring Boot experience.Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented Design & Programming.Hands-on experience with Test Automation and TDD.Experience with Jenkins for build, deployment and release automation.Experience with GitHub for source control and release management.Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.Highly Valuable Skills CucumberREST APIs / Web ServicesApache KafkaMQ SeriesDenodoEvent-driven architectureDesign PatternsMarket-data or financial-system integrationsEnterprise integration environments
