Cloud Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Lead the deployment and automation of cutting-edge servers and hardware, integrating them into advanced private cloud environments. • Manage and optimize the private cloud infrastructure that supports all company employees across the organization. • Utilize tools like Helm to build robust automation processes, driving continuous improvement and efficiency in technical workflows. • Apply expertise in Ceph and object storage solutions to evolve storage infrastructure and optimize data management. • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, and implement effective monitoring and logging systems for stable platform operations. What You'll Need • Several years of experience with Linux, OpenStack, and Kubernetes, alongside a strong understanding of virtualization and cloud operations. • A relevant IT degree or completed vocational training (e.g., IT specialist for system integration) or equivalent qualification. • Proven knowledge and practical experience in managing private cloud platforms, with scripting and programming skills, particularly in Python. • Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop effective solutions. • Excellent German and English language proficiency.
