We're looking for a Software Engineer - Mobile App Developer to help shape and grow the mobile experience at the heart of our platform. Why This Role Is Different Our mobile application is the primary way customers interact with eShepherd technology in the field. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll develop features that help farmers manage livestock remotely, monitor performance, and make informed decisions wherever they are. You'll work on meaningful technical challenges including connected devices, geospatial experiences, real-time data, and low-connectivity environments, collaborating closely with Product, Cloud, Hardware and Firmware teams to deliver a seamless customer experience. This is a hands-on role where you'll have the opportunity to take ownership, contribute ideas, grow your technical capability, and see your work used by customers every day. What You'll Be Doing As a Software Engineer - Mobile App Developer, you'll contribute to the design, development and enhancement of our React Native application across iOS and Android. You'll Design, build and maintain mobile application featuresDevelop high-quality, scalable and maintainable codeCollaborate closely with Product, Cloud, Firmware and Hardware teamsImprove application performance, reliability and user experienceIntegrate with cloud services, APIs and connected devicesContribute to technical decisions and continuous improvement initiativesSolve challenges associated with remote and low-connectivity environmentsTake ownership of features from concept through to release What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys building products that solve real-world problems and takes pride in delivering quality software.
