Abinitio Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Ab Initio Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Ab Initio, ETL/Data Engineering, Unix/Linux, Shell Scripting, SQL, and Oracle. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting high-quality data integration solutions, while also providing technical guidance, troubleshooting, and mentoring to team members. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy Ab Initio ETL/data integration solutions.Work across batch and continuous data flows.Develop and maintain complex data pipelines and integration processes.Perform technical troubleshooting and provide Level 3 production support.Analyse and resolve complex data and application issues.Mentor team members and provide technical guidance.Estimate development effort for new features and enhancements.Apply industry-standard development, coding, testing, and data engineering practices.Contribute to continuous improvement and automation initiatives.Develop comprehensive test coverage and ensure high-quality software delivery.Mandatory Skills & Experience 7+ years of hands-on experience with Ab Initio and data engineering/ETL.Strong experience with Ab Initio products, EME, and development frameworks.Strong Unix/Linux and Shell Scripting experience.Experience working with both Batch and Continuous Flows.Strong knowledge of RDBMS, Oracle, and SQL.Experience with data integration and ETL tools/frameworks.Strong understanding of MQ, REST APIs, and Kafka integrations.Experience with AWS Cloud.Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and pipeline development.Experience with Jenkins, TeamCity, and Ab Initio EME.Programming experience in Python and/or Java.Strong DevOps and production support experience.What We’re Looking For Strong coding, design, debugging, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions.Experience mentoring developers and providing technical assistance.Ability to lead L3 support and technical troubleshooting activities.Strong understanding of software development and engineering best practices.Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
