DevOps Trainee

Position: DevOps Trainee Description We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic DevOps Trainee to join our team and start their career in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, automation, and software deployment. The trainee will work closely with experienced DevOps and development teams, gaining hands-on exposure to modern tools and technologies while supporting day-to-day infrastructure and deployment activities. Key Responsibilities Assist the DevOps team in managing development and staging environments.Support basic CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance.Assist with application deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.Gain hands-on exposure to AWS and Azure cloud services.Assist with basic Linux server administration and troubleshooting.Write simple Bash scripts for automation and routine tasks.Support infrastructure management using Terraform.Assist with monitoring, logging, and basic system health checks.Collaborate with Development and QA teams during deployments.Learn and follow DevOps, security, and infrastructure best practices.Participate in technical discussions, documentation, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Requirements Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.Basic understanding of Linux, Git, and networking concepts.Familiarity with Docker and any CI/CD tool is an advantage.Basic knowledge of AWS or Azure is a plus.Basic scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, or similar is preferred.Strong interest in DevOps, cloud technologies, and automation.Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.Willingness to learn and work with new technologies. Good to Have Academic or personal projects involving AWS/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or CI/CD.GitHub projects demonstrating technical learning or experimentation.Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications are a plus.
