This is the job We are accelerating our cloud transformation strategy by scaling up our delivery capacity to run multiple migration streams in parallel. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the team responsible for migrating core business applications to Microsoft Azure. Your focus will be on rehosting existing workloads with high reliability and minimal disruption, while establishing the architectural foundation for future cloud optimization. This is you Solid experience with Linux, Docker, GIT, and networking fundamentalsExperience in the design, administration, and maintenance of enterprise infrastructure built on Windows Server systems and related services (Active Directory, IIS, DNS, DHCP) is an advantage for certain projects.Working knowledge of SQL and RedisHands-on experience with Microsoft AzureFamiliarity with Kubernetes/OpenShiftExperience with Proxy/LB, Apache, or NginxExposure to Java or .NET application administrationPractical experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitLab, or similar toolsExperience with GitOps practices and Argo CD for continuous deliveryKnowledge of Bash, Python, or Perl scripting is highly valuedStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent team collaboration and communication skillsProactive, independent, and detail-oriented work styleFluent in Czech or SlovakGood command of English, especially for reading technical documentation and professional communication This is your role Architect and optimize infrastructure to host critical applications, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.Drive the improvement and automation of IT processes, leveraging your expertise to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.Contribute to our containerization strategy, working within a team dedicated to providing robust and scalable container virtualization solutions.Collaborate closely with development teams on CI/CD pipelines, helping to build and maintain seamless integration and delivery workflows.Automate deployment and testing procedures, ensuring rapid, reliable, and repeatable software releases.Manage the lifecycle of application deployments, including new version installations, ongoing operational maintenance, and proactive troubleshooting. You'll also analyze and resolve complex production issues.Conduct capacity planning to ensure our infrastructure can meet growing demands, along generally debug and optimize running applications for peak performance.Administer Linux servers, ensuring their stability, security, and optimal configuration.Coordinate and resolve customer-reported issues by collaborating effectively with support teams.Innovate and contribute your own technical ideas and solutions.
