Senior Backend Software Engineer Job in Boston

Job Description A growing CRM startup company is looking to hire a Senior Backend Software Engineer to help build out and improve their AI driven modern CRM platform. You’ll work on their backend work streams, API platform, core data model, and systems that lead the way for new product capabilities. In this role, you’ll help build external API platforms, ship new AI-driven capabilities, build new applications in Node, and design data model and system architecture to support their increasingly complex customer workflows. Required Skills & Experience Strong backend architecture and system design experience Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, database design, and backend scalable solutions Strong experience with SaaS platforms, multi-tenant architecture, and scalability Time spent in technical leadership roles (tech lead, staff engineer, or equivalent) Desired Skills & Experience 8+ years of experience building and scaling backend systems BS in Computer Science (MS preferred) or a relevant field Ability to communicate clearly and make practical tradeoffs What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities 100% Hands On Lead backend architecture and development for core platform initiatives Scale and enhance the API platform, including performance, versioning, and multi-tenant capabilities Design and develop scalable backend systems and customer-facing platform features Build and maintain core engineering frameworks and platform services Explore and implement AI-powered product capabilities The Offer Bonus OR Commission eligible You will receive the following benefits Medical Insurance Dental Benefits Vision Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) {including match – if applicable} Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
