AI & Intelligent Document Processing Engineer

We are seeking an experienced AI & Intelligent Document Processing Engineer to design, develop, and deploy production-grade LLM, Generative AI, and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions within a highly regulated enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will combine strong AI/LLM expertise with full-stack software engineering, AWS cloud, and DevSecOps capabilities, with a proven ability to deliver AI solutions that create measurable business and operational outcomes. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI and LLM solutions.Develop RAG architectures, AI agents, agentic workflows, and LLM-powered applications.Implement prompt engineering, model evaluation, orchestration, and optimisation.Design and deliver enterprise-scale Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions.Develop document classification, extraction, validation, verification, redaction, and workflow automation capabilities.Integrate OCR, document intelligence, and AI technologies into enterprise applications and customer journeys.Build reusable AI and document intelligence services across business domains.Develop modern web applications using ReactJS and backend services using Python, Java, Go, or .NET.Design scalable APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.Build and operate cloud-native solutions on AWS.Develop containerised applications using Docker and implement CI/CD pipelines.Improve system observability, reliability, security, and operational resilience.Apply DevSecOps and responsible AI practices throughout the software development lifecycle.Mentor and support engineering teams while contributing to technical architecture and engineering standards.Mandatory AI & LLM Skills Proven experience delivering production-grade LLM solutions.Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Llama, or equivalent LLMs.Strong experience with:Prompt EngineeringRetrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)AI AgentsAgentic WorkflowsModel OrchestrationAI EvaluationModel Performance OptimisationExperience integrating LLMs into enterprise applications and business workflows.Understanding of AI security, privacy, explainability, fairness, governance, and Responsible AI.Mandatory Intelligent Document Processing Skills Strong hands-on experience delivering Intelligent Document Processing solutions.Experience with:Document ClassificationData ExtractionOCR TechnologiesDocument Validation & VerificationDocument Workflow AutomationRedaction ServicesDocument Intelligence PlatformsExperience processing structured, semi-structured, and unstructured documents.Proven ability to use intelligent automation to improve customer and operational outcomes.Software Engineering & Cloud Skills Extensive enterprise software development experience.Strong programming experience in one or more of Python, Java, Go, or .NET.Strong ReactJS development experience.Strong API design and integration experience.Strong AWS cloud engineering experience.Experience with Docker and containerisation.Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.Experience working in highly regulated enterprise environments.Engineering & DevSecOps Strong software design and solution architecture capabilities.Deep understanding of DevSecOps principles.Experience designing resilient, scalable, and observable systems.Strong problem-solving and systems-thinking capabilities.Ability to balance innovation, delivery, risk, security, and resilience.Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to engineering standards and best practices.
