Job title: DevOps Engineer Client: FinTech Salary: £90,000-£110,000 + Bonus Location: London Skills: Linux, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Kafka, Docker, Maven, Prometheus, Grafana, Python The role : My client, an expanding and established FinTech, are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team in London. This role requires 4 days in the office per week, with 1 day working from home. Responsibilities: Automation first mindset, designing automated solutions for CI/CD pipelinesWorking across various teams to work collaboratively during projectsOps work including route cause analysis and technical Linux deep divesDesigning and implementing deployments tools using Helm, Ansible or similarWorking on large containerised environments – Kubernetes and DockerMonitoring and Observability utilising tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Mimir, Loki, Tempo etc.Scripting in a variety of languages including Python, Java, Groovy, React, Swift etc. Experience required 3-5 years + experience working in a varied DevOps positionStrong Linux systems experiencedCompetent scripting in Python and BashGood knowledge of container platforms – Kubernetes, Docker, PodmanStrong knowledge of CI/CD tooling such as Bamboo, GitLab, Travis etc.Good understanding of software delivery practices such as Git branching and Configuration ManagementExperience working with Kafka is highly desirableKnowledge of software delivery practicesGood overall understanding of the SDLC and AgileStrong knowledge of build tools such as Maven / GradleAny experience with Xcode / Swift / associated iOS technologies is highly desirable This is an excellent opportunity to work for an established but expanding firm who have a deep footprint in some of the world’s largest financial institutions.
