Senior Software Engineer | Melbourne | $180,000 to $200,000 plus Super and ESOP A high growth payments business is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help build out its platform as it scales. Founder led, with strong market traction, and investing seriously in engineering as the product grows. This role sits close to the core of what the business does, systems that move money and manage identity, built by a small team that uses AI tools as part of how they work, not as an add on. You will have real ownership and work directly with the founders. What you'll be doing Design, build and ship features end to end, from backend through to interfaceWork across React and Node.js on systems handling money movement and identityUse AI tooling as part of everyday engineering, from planning through to codeWork closely with the founders on product direction and technical decisionsWrite clean, well tested code you would be comfortable maintaining yourself What we're looking for Strong backend engineering in TypeScript and Node.js, with genuine ownership over what you've builtExperience in a regulated environment, comfortable with the standards around moving money and managing identityReact experience, Google Cloud is a plus but not essentialComfortable working closely with founders in a small, early stage teamGenuinely curious about using AI tools to build better and faster, not just aware of them About weave.
