One of our federal Government clients is seeking to engage Senior Siebel Developers for QLD, WA, ACT, VIC, NSW, NT, SA, TAS locations Initial contract duration-14 monthsExtension term-12 monthsExperience level-Senior - EL1 equivalentLocation of work -QLD, WA, ACT, VIC, NSW, NT, SA, TASWorking arrangements-Hybrid The Siebel Developer is responsible for developing high-quality Siebel solutions that support business and technical requirements Overall description This position combines hands-on technical expertise and cross-functional collaboration to deliver solutions that are scalable, secure and aligned with enterprise standards and evolving business requirements. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the design, development, configuration and unit testing of Siebel CRM solutions in line with functional requirements, technical standards and Siebel best practice.Design and develop Siebel integrations using business services, workflows, integration objects, XML and web services.Deliver system enhancements, sustainment activities, defect resolution and development support to maintain platform performance, stability and reliability, working with production support teams where required.Produce and maintain technical documentation, including technical analysis, data model changes and unit test documentation.Review code, technical designs, developed products and unit test scripts to assure quality and alignment with standards.Work collaboratively with project, architecture, release, operations and production support teams to deliver fit-for-purpose outcomes.Support testing, release planning, deployment, warranty and post-release validation activities.Mentor permanent and contractor staff through technical guidance, skills transfer and knowledge sharing.Ensure development activities comply with departmental standards, DevSecOps practices and security requirements.Key capabilities: Demonstrated experience in Siebel CRM development, including configuration, workflows and integrations.Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to deliver in complex, enterprise environments.Ability to lead technical delivery and provide practical guidance, mentoring and assurance to development teams.Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Commitment to quality, continuous improvement and reliable delivery outcomes.Capability must demonstrate: Minimum five years of experience as a Siebel Developer.Demonstrated experience in the design and development of end-to-end Siebel integration solutions using best practices.Demonstrated understanding of Siebel Enterprise Application Integration Server components and their role in supporting performance and scalabilityStrong analytical skills with an emphasis on the ability to quickly find viable solutions to emergent problems.Ability to produce high-quality detailed technical solution documentation.Ability to produce high-quality unit test specifications based on functional and technical design.Demonstrated capacity for continuous learning and delivering high-quality products.Desirable: Siebel 8 CertificationExperience in working with Siebel IP20 or above and workspacesAdvanced debugging skills like SARM/FDR AnalysisExperience in Siebel EIM and Data migrationExperience in BIP reports developmentOpen UI experienceTools used: Siebel Tools and ClientOracle SQL DeveloperSOAP UIMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio)CI/CD - Azure DevopsOracle BI Publisher DesktopSplunkGeneral Skills & Attributes: Excellent oral and written communication skills.Proven ability and commitment to work collaboratively with all stakeholders towards common goals.Possess effective planning and problem-solving skills to focus on delivering a quality outcome.Multi-tasking attitude, equally comfortable operating from within both the technology and business environments.Highly motivated and the ability to work with limited supervision and achieve results.
