JOB FUNCTIONS Full Stack Development & E-Commerce Platform Serve as SFI Health's lead full stack developer for the Magento/Adobe Commerce Enterprise platform, including front-end theming, custom module development, and back-end architecture.Design, build, and maintain custom development work across the storefront, including checkout, catalog, pricing, integrations, API’s, plugins, and customer-facing features.Own CDN configuration, caching strategy, and performance tuning for the storefront.Implement and tune site search functionality to support merchandising, relevance, and conversion goals.Set a vision and technical roadmap for the application platform and ensure strategies, initiatives, and workplans move SFI Health toward that vision.Perform solution design, code review, and architecture decisions for new features and integrations.Ensure compliance with relevant security, privacy, and data protection standards across development work.Cloud Infrastructure & Infrastructure as Code Design, provision, and maintain AWS infrastructure supporting the e-commerce platform using infrastructure as code, primarily Terraform and Terragrunt.Maintain version-controlled, repeatable environment configurations across development, staging, and production.Monitor and improve the stability, uptime, performance, and cost efficiency of AWS-hosted systems.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable, repeatable deployments.Proactively evaluate new AWS services and infrastructure practices and propose ways to apply them to improve reliability, security, or cost.Integration Services Design, build, and support integration processes on the Boomi platform, spanning both EDI (e.g., X12, EDIFACT, trading partner onboarding) and non-EDI (API-based, batch, and real-time) integration patterns.Document integration architecture, data mappings, and error-handling processes for supported integrations.Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures, including coordination with trading partners and third-party vendors as needed.Identify opportunities to streamline or consolidate integration processes across systems.Delivery Ensure end-user and customer experience is of the highest quality through the ongoing development, enhancement, and support of the application and integration platforms.Maintain a long-term delivery roadmap showing deliverables per week, per month, and per year.Understand and document the needs of stakeholders including users, leaders, and colleagues.Create, update, review, and govern estimates for work packages, sprints, initiatives, projects, and programs.Lead, coordinate, and manage delivery of initiatives across application and integration platforms, including maintaining project schedules, workplans, and boards.Coordinate and perform testing as required (integration, UAT, performance, regression), including writing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test documentation.Represent your field of expertise in working groups and project teams.Maintain Efficient Technology Platform Ensure the ongoing stability, uptime, and cyber security of application and integration platforms and systems.Ensure that application and integration platforms and systems meet or exceed agreed service level agreements and operational requirements.Maintain a regular cadence of upgrades and improvements to application and integration platforms and systems.Provide technical support to resolve end-user application and integration related problems and major incidents.Support the Problem Management function by diagnosing and documenting root cause analysis of incidents.High Performing Team Support and mentor Technology team members on development practices, integration services, and supporting tools.Contribute to fostering a positive, effective, outcome-focused, proactive, and collaborative culture.Help lead the creation of a culture of sustainable strategies and roadmaps.Commercial Create and maintain effective system, subscription, and licensing monitoring, usage and adoption reporting, and capacity planning.Review application, infrastructure, and integration technology, capabilities, risk profile, and cost effectiveness of potential suppliers, and make recommendations about their applicability and fit for SFI Health.Deploy configuration and software across platforms following agreed processes for licensing and distribution.Provide input into, and lead where required, negotiation of supplier agreements and commercials.Provide input into, and lead where required, creation, review, and execution of contracts with suppliers.Provide input into, and manage where required, Opex and Capex budgets and expenditure.Manage associated vendor relationships, including implementation and licensing partners. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred, or a combination of education and experience.Experience: 7+ years of demonstrated direct, hands-on full stack development experience, including at least 4 recent years working directly on the Magento/Adobe Commerce platform as a full stack developer.Demonstrated experience designing and managing AWS infrastructure using infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform and/or Terragrunt).Demonstrated experience developing and supporting integration processes on the Boomi platform, including both EDI and non-EDI integrations.Skills & abilities: Demonstrated successful experience mentoring team members.Ability to create high quality documentation, including solution design, test plans, and process documentation.A working understanding of Agile and product-centric principles, project management, and schedule creation and management.The ability to "think big" and challenge conventional wisdom.High levels of emotional intelligence and an ability to influence in a pragmatic manner, even without direct control.An enthusiastic, driven collaborator who combines a results-oriented mindset with a supportive, positive, can-do approach.A hunger to stay at the forefront of digital trends, emerging technology, AI, and digital transformation.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to create simplicity from complexity and clarity from ambiguity.Excellent collaboration skills, while also being able to self-direct when required.Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, projects, and stakeholders with excellent attention to detail.Flexible and adaptable, willing to regularly work non-standard hours to support local efforts, and collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues in different regions.A genuine passion for how technology can enable great SFI Health customer, employee, and partner experiences and success.A passion for natural healthcare and purpose-driven business is desirable.Technical skills: Strong full stack development skills, including front-end (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS) and back-end (PHP and/or Node.js) development.Strong, direct experience with Magento/Adobe Commerce Enterprise architecture, theming, and custom module development.Strong experience with AWS infrastructure and infrastructure as code, including Terraform and Terragrunt for provisioning and environment management.Experience with CDN configuration and management (e.g., CloudFront, Fastly, Akamai) for e-commerce storefronts.Experience implementing and tuning site search platforms (e.g., Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Algolia) for e-commerce.Proficiency developing on and supporting the Boomi platform, including both EDI (X12, EDIFACT, trading partner onboarding) and non-EDI (API, batch, real-time) integration patterns.Experience with SQL database management and storing, manipulating, and retrieving data from relational databases.Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.A working knowledge of scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell) to streamline recurring tasks.An understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and how they apply to web applications and integration platforms.Ability to derive actionable insights to improve user adoption, effectiveness, and performance based on data.OTHER INFORMATION Supervisory Responsibilities: None.Work Environment: This position operates in a temperature-controlled, professional office environment with moderate noise.
