Python Developer

Our Dublin based client are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join the team on a permanent basis. Excellent career opportunity with an established company that operate on a global scale Hybrid working model with 2 days per week on site Key items for this role are experience with Python and AWS serverless technologies Job Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain secure backend software applications that are reliable and scalableOwnership of complex features from design through to production release.Collaboration with engineers, product managers, architects, designers, QA, security, and data teams to help deliver solutionsParticipate in code reviews and architectural discussions while contributing to ideas that will improve overall performanceContribute to technical decision-making in cloud-native and serverless environments.Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and promote engineering best practices across the wider groupMentor fellow engineers through code reviews, pair programming, design discussions, and knowledge sharing. Experience Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline involving coding.Strong proficiency in Python, including object-oriented design, testing practices, typing, and maintainable service design.Experience building and operating cloud services within AWS environments.Expertise with AWS serverless technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudFront.Experience using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.Experience designing backend capabilities including APIs, secure storage solutions, analytics services, and workflow integrations.
