We are currently seeking an experienced and collaborative leader to join us as Regional Lead – Central. This is a key leadership role responsible for guiding maintenance operations, supporting our people, enhancing safety performance, and ensuring the ongoing reliability and availability of critical rail infrastructure across the Central Region. The Role Reporting to the Head of Maintenance Delivery, you will provide leadership, direction and support to Supervisors and maintenance teams, ensuring the safe, efficient and effective delivery of maintenance activities while fostering a positive team culture and high-performing work environment. Key Responsibilities In This Role, You Will Promote and strengthen a positive safety culture across maintenance teams.Deliver regional operational and maintenance objectives aligned with Arc Infrastructure's strategic business plan.Identify and manage operational risks and implement effective controls.Contribute to budget planning and ensure maintenance activities are delivered safely, efficiently and within budget.Provide guidance on policy, legislative and compliance requirements.Ensure maintenance activities meet safety, quality, environmental and statutory obligations.Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance asset performance and operational reliability.Coordinate restoration and recovery activities following asset incidents.Lead, coach and develop Supervisors and maintenance teams to achieve operational outcomes.Build strong relationships with employees, local communities and key stakeholders.Support workforce planning, talent attraction and succession planning activities.Foster an inclusive workplace where employees feel valued, supported and empowered to succeed.Recognise and celebrate individual and team achievements.Create opportunities for capability development and career growth across the region.Take accountability for the safe and effective delivery of maintenance outcomes. About You The Central Region presents a diverse range of operational challenges, requiring a leader who is adaptable, resilient and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Be an engaging and people-focused leader with experience managing maintenance, infrastructure, operational or construction teams.Build trust and strong working relationships through effective communication and collaboration.Be passionate about developing people, creating inclusive team environments and supporting others to achieve their potential.Balance operational priorities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, asset performance and employee wellbeing.Demonstrate sound judgement, problem-solving skills and the ability to lead through change. You Will Also Have Experience in a leadership role within rail, maintenance, infrastructure, construction or related operational environments. Demonstrated success leading and developing diverse teams.Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.Knowledge of safety management systems, risk management principles and operational best practices.Experience managing budgets, resources and operational performance.An understanding of relevant legislation, industry standards and compliance requirements.Significant and demonstrable industry-relevant experience.A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to support teams across a geographically diverse region.
