Sr. NodeJS Backend Developer

Description This job posting is for an existing, active vacancy and we are looking to hire NodeJS Backend Developer in Canada (WFH), immediately who has strong experience in developing backend applications using Node.js, Express.js, and NestJS, while also leveraging C# as a secondary development language for integrations and cross-platform solutions. Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Retail & E-commerce technology team, focused on designing, developing, and supporting scalable backend services that power critical customer and business experiences. This role is ideal for a highly skilled engineer with deep expertise in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, API development, distributed systems, and cloud-native application development, capable of building resilient, high-performance solutions in enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience developing backend applications using Node.js, Express.js, and NestJS, while also leveraging C# as a secondary development language for integrations and cross-platform solutions. You will work closely with product managers, architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and secure services that support large-scale Retail & E-commerce platforms.
