Your responsibilities will include: Designing, developing and implementing full-stack applications using Java.Developing and maintaining robust back-end services and APIs.Working on front-end components using technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.Participating in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and technical design through development, testing and deployment.Collaborating with business analysts, architects, testers and other technical specialists to define and refine project requirements.Participating in code reviews and following established coding standards and best practices.Debugging, troubleshooting and resolving application issues to ensure reliable and high-quality solutions.Contributing to technical architecture and solution design.Identifying opportunities to improve application performance, maintainability and scalability.Preparing and maintaining technical and application documentation.Actively participating in an Agile development team, including planning sessions, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives. Key Requirements 3+ years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on experience in Java.Solid understanding of full-stack development and the ability to work across both back-end and front-end layers.Good knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.Experience with modern Java back-end frameworks.Good understanding of REST APIs and application integration.Practical experience with SQL and relational databases.Understanding of software development best practices, clean code and version control.Experience working in Agile/Scrum or similar development environments.Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Nice to Have Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Azure.Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue.js.Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.Experience working in the financial services sector or on business-critical applications.Experience with automated testing and test-driven development. Languages German – very advanced / fluent level is required.English – intermediate level is required. Both languages will be used in the professional environment, so candidates should feel comfortable communicating in German at a very high level and in English at an intermediate level.
