Software Developer- Front End Intermediate

Senior Full Stack Developer – React / Node.js / Java Location: Ontario, Canada Employment Type: Contract Security Clearance: No Clearance Required About the Role We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong hands-on experience in modern front-end development using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Next.js, along with working knowledge of Java/Spring and Oracle databases. The ideal candidate will have experience building responsive, accessible, and high-performing web applications within large enterprise environments and be comfortable working in Agile teams. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain modern web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.Build and integrate RESTful APIs and web services using Node.js and Java/Spring.Work with Next.js and modern Jamstack architecture.Develop responsive web applications and optimize page performance and load times.Perform front-end testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.Implement accessible solutions compliant with AODA / WCAG 2.0 AA standards.Work with Oracle databases, including SQL, tables, views, sequences, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.Utilize Spring Framework, Spring Boot, MVC, Security, Hibernate/JPA, and Maven.Work with version-control and development tools such as Bitbucket and Git.Collaborate with developers, architects, business stakeholders, QA, and other teams in a large enterprise environment.Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical discussions, code reviews, testing, and delivery activities.Contribute to technical design, troubleshooting, documentation, and continuous improvement.Required Skills & Experience 1+ year of hands-on React development.Strong experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.Experience with Node.js/NPM and Next.js.Experience building and testing RESTful APIs.Working knowledge of Jamstack architecture.1+ year of Java development experience.Experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot, MVC, Security, and JPA/Hibernate.Experience with Oracle databases and SQL, including database objects such as tables, views, sequences, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.Experience with HTML5, CSS, and responsive web development.Hands-on experience with front-end testing, debugging, and page-load optimization.Experience with Maven and Bitbucket/Git.Experience working with AODA/WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility standards.Experience working within large organizations or enterprise development teams.Experience working in Agile development environments.Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Nice to Have Experience with IBM RAD, IBM RSA, Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, or Visual Studio Code.Experience delivering enterprise-scale applications.Experience with accessibility testing and remediation.Experience working across both front-end and back-end development stacks.What We're Looking For A hands-on developer who can contribute across the front-end and back-end, understands modern web architecture, and has experience delivering secure, accessible, responsive, and high-performing applications in a collaborative enterprise environment.
