About The Team Join our Operational Software Development team and help build the digital backbone that enables the development and launch of our orbital rockets. We create internal software solutions that empower engineers, analysts, and business teams to work more efficiently, make data-driven decisions, and solve complex challenges at scale. This role offers the opportunity to own products end-to-end, work closely with experts across the entire company, and see the direct impact of your solutions on real-world aerospace operations. Your Tasks Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications that support critical engineering and business processes across the company.Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand operational challenges, translate requirements into effective software solutions, and continuously improve user experience.Own software products throughout their lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to deployment, maintenance, and long-term evolution.Develop reliable APIs, data pipelines, and user interfaces that improve data accessibility, automation, and decision-making.Drive technical excellence by promoting best practices in software development, testing, code quality, security, and system reliability.Contribute to the team's technical direction by identifying opportunities for improvement and helping to shape scalable software architectures. Your Qualifications A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is beneficial. We equally welcome candidates who have developed the required skills through professional experience, personal projects, or alternative educational pathways.Experience building and maintaining full-stack web applications, including frontend development with React and backend services.Proven experience developing production-grade software applications using Python, TypeScript, and modern web technologies.Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including system design, testing, version control, and maintainable code architecture.Experience working with SQL databases, API development, and data-driven applications.Proficiency with Git, Docker, and development in Linux-based environments.Ability to independently solve complex problems, prioritize effectively, and deliver reliable solutions in a collaborative environment.Professional English communication skills, both written and spoken.Experience designing internal business applications, operational tools, or engineering platforms.Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.Experience working with data integration, analytics, or workflow automation systems.Familiarity with software systems used in engineering, manufacturing, or aerospace environments.Experience mentoring colleagues or driving technical improvements within a development team.
