To help us achieve this, we are looking for a driven Software Engineer to build and improve the products that bring our AI to clinical and research users. Role and responsibilities As a core member of our engineering team, you will work across the full stack, from back-end services to the web applications our customers use every day. You will help expand Aiforia's platform and keep our existing products robust and reliable. Your key tasks will include: Architecture and design: Design scalable, robust solutions across the stack, from back-end services and APIs to user-facing web features.Software implementation: Develop, write, and optimize production-level code across the stack.AI tooling and context: Write and maintain the specifications, repository context, and prompts that make AI workflows possible.Quality assurance: Ensure high standards of code quality and reliability through code reviews, unit tests, and validation protocols.Technical documentation: Write and maintain clear, accurate technical documentation to support development, regulatory compliance, and cross-team collaboration.Product maintenance: Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain existing products to ensure seamless performance for our users in clinical and research settings. Who we are looking for The ideal candidate is a versatila engineer who is comfortable moving between back-end front-end work. You write clean dove, care about the end user, and thrive in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. Requirements: Educational background: BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.Experience: 3+ years of relevant industry experience in full-stack or software engineering.Technical skills: Strong programming skills and hands-on experience building and deploying web applications and back-end services in production.Communication: Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Fluency in written and spoken English is a must.AI-assisted development: Daily hands-on use of AI coding tools in production work. You can explain the role of agents and context in the development workflow, and how you verify the result. What gives you an edge: Experience and knowledge of image analysis and AI model building, and the workflows associated with them, including data management, verification metrics, and validation.Experience building and evolving an AI harness: the infrastructure around the development process that lets agents operate as independent actors across the delivery lifecycle.Experience improving how a team adopts AI coding tools: shared context, execution loops, and safety boundaries.Experience with our core stack: C#/.NET.Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, TypeScript).Familiarity with REST APIs, databases, and cloud computing platforms.Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices.Previous experience working with medical devices, healthcare data, or within regulated environments (e.g. ISO 13485, FDA).
