QA Engineer (Software Tester) Location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/rrWUqHRDwa6KjWAh6?g_st=iw Employment Type: Full Time Experience: 2-3 years No. of Vacancies: [1] Salary: Negotiable / range ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to own product quality for our ERP software, on both the web and mobile applications. You will test new features, validate business workflows, find defects before our customers do, and confirm that each release is ready to go out. RESPONSIBILITIES Functional testing: prepare test scenarios, test cases and test data from requirements, and perform functional, smoke and exploratory testing on the web and mobile applications.ERP business process testing: test end-to-end business flows across modules and verify calculations, accounting entries, tax, discounts and inventory balances.Access control: test user roles, permissions and data isolation between companies.API testing: test REST APIs using Postman - status codes, request and response data, validation and authorisation.Database testing: use SQL to confirm that transactions are saved correctly and that related data stays consistent.Regression and release testing: maintain and run the regression suite, validate critical workflows before a release, and smoke test after deployment.Defect management: report defects with clear steps, expected vs actual results and evidence at the correct severity, and close them only after retesting.Documentation and automation: maintain test documentation and evidence, and contribute to API and UI test automation as the framework grows. REQUIRED SKILLS - 2-3 years in software testing or quality assurance. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field. - Strong test design and a good understanding of the testing life cycle. - API testing with Postman or a similar tool. - Basic to intermediate SQL for data verification. - Experience testing both web and mobile applications. - Good analytical skills, attention to detail and clear communication. PREFERRED - Experience testing ERP, accounting, inventory or other business software. - Understanding of basic accounting or business processes. - Exposure to automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or Appium. - Familiarity with local VAT, TDS or tax-authority processes. WHAT WE EXPECT You do not mark something as tested because the page opened. You check that it works in a real business scenario, investigate unexpected results, and treat data accuracy as part of the test. The role is manual testing first, with automation growing into it over time. Shortlisted candidates will be given a short practical test on a live system.
