Location: Canberra, ACT preferred Working Arrangement: Hybrid – Flexible Office / WFH Contract: 12 months + up to 2 × 12-month extensions Hours: Up to 40 hours per week Security: Baseline Security Clearance preferred Environment: Australian Government Expected Start: October 2026 SkyDB is seeking experienced Senior Power Platform Software Engineers to support a major digital transformation program within an Australian Government agency. You’ll join the myAMSA program, an established digital portal being expanded to support a digital-first approach to maritime regulation, improve customer experience, streamline business processes and enhance regulatory service delivery. This is a hands-on senior development opportunity combining Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Power Pages, full-stack .NET development and Azure integration. About the RoleYou’ll work within a small, multidisciplinary delivery team responsible for developing and expanding enterprise digital services. Key responsibilities will include: Develop solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform and Power PagesBuild modern front-end functionality using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSSDevelop and integrate backend services using C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON and SQLIntegrate front-end applications with enterprise backend servicesDevelop integrations using Azure API Management, Azure Functions and Logic AppsBuild workflows and automation using Power AutomateWork within established application architectures and development patternsDevelop and maintain reusable software componentsWork with Azure DevOps, source control and CI/CD pipelinesTroubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute to solution designCollaborate closely with developers, architects, business analysts, product teams and other technical specialists Key Technical SkillsWe’re particularly interested in candidates with strong hands-on experience across: Microsoft Business Applications Dynamics 365Power PlatformPower PagesDataversePower AutomateFull-Stack Development C# / .NETJavaScript / TypeScriptHTML / CSSREST APIsJSONSQLModern front-end frameworks such as Vue.jsAzure & DevOps Azure API ManagementAzure FunctionsLogic AppsAzure DevOpsCI/CDSource control Highly DesirableExperience with intelligent automation and AI technologies will be highly regarded, including: Azure AIMicrosoft CopilotAI BuilderGenerative AIAgent-based solutionsRelevant Microsoft certifications across Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure or AI will also be highly regarded.
