The company has experienced significant growth over the last 12–18 months and is now making a major investment into its internal technology capability. Technology is becoming increasingly central to the business, with a substantial pipeline of e-commerce improvements, new applications, integrations and internal systems planned. They are now building an internal development team around their CTO, creating an opportunity to join at an early stage and develop your career as the technology function grows. THE ROLE They're looking for a Junior Shopify Developer to join their team in Plymouth. You'll work directly alongside the CTO, helping develop and maintain an established Shopify ecommerce platform while gaining exposure to a wide range of new technical projects. This is a junior position, but they're looking for someone who already has practical development experience and a good understanding of the fundamentals of building for the web. You'll work across Shopify development, themes, new functionality and integrations while developing your technical skills and taking on increasing ownership as you progress. The immediate focus will be Shopify development, but as the internal engineering team grows there will be opportunities to gain experience across broader applications, integrations and bespoke internal software.
