This is your chance to take real ownership of infrastructure within a small, cracked engineering team - with far more impact than you’d have in a huge platform org. You'll own the systems Dæly runs on end to end, make architectural decisions and build the infrastructure that carries us through our next phase of growth. What you'll do. Own our Azure infrastructure end to end across reliability, scalability and costOperate and scale Kubernetes (dev, staging & production), including upgrades, autoscaling, networking and ingressManage Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD across our cloud stackSupport backend development, integrations and production troubleshootingRun observability across logs, metrics, alerting and incident responseImprove identity/auth infrastructure and contribute to security & compliance readinessDrive cloud cost optimizationPlan and potentially execute a migration from Azure Germany to an EU-based hosting provider What we are looking for. Someone with substantial hands-on experience managing and scaling Kubernetes clusters in production, (this is not an entry-level role)Deep practical Azure expertise at production scale, including AKS, networking, storage and IAMStrong Kubernetes architecture & operations skillsInfrastructure as Code with Terraform or similar toolingExperience across CI/CD pipelines, service mesh / API gateways, and production identity & auth systemsSolid backend development skills Nice to have. Cloud migration experience - lift-and-shift or re-architecture - is a strong plusFamiliarity with EU data residency & compliance is a plusGerman Speaking, based in- or close to Vienna What we offer you.
