Your new role As a Java Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for building and enhancing scalable backend systems that support large-scale business operations. You will work on automation and data acquisition initiatives, leveraging web scraping and RPA technologies to deliver impactful business solutions. Job Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications and APIs.Build and enhance data acquisition solutions using web scraping technologies.Develop and support RPA solutions to streamline operational processes.Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability across production environments. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.3-5 years of software engineering experience with strong Java and Spring Boot expertise.Hands-on experience with web scraping, data extraction, or crawler development.Exposure to RPA platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or similar tools.Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, SQL databases, and cloud-native development practices.Due to project requirements and hiring considerations, this opportunity is currently open to candidates who are Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents.
