This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a new notification and campaign management platform, working alongside a highly collaborative engineering team to deliver a business-critical product from concept through to implementation and handover. The Opportunity We are seeking a Software Developer with strong full stack experience to help deliver a Notification Engine MVP. You'll work across backend services, frontend applications, integrations, testing, and deployment while collaborating closely with engineers and technical stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning work end-to-end and can balance rapid delivery with scalable, maintainable engineering practices. Key Responsibilities Design and build scalable backend services, APIs, and data modelsDevelop modern frontend experiences using ReactImplement business rules, validation, permissions, and workflow logicIntegrate with identity management and authentication platformsBuild APIs for both user-facing and programmatic platform interactionsCreate reporting capabilities, dashboards, and analytics visualisationsDevelop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end testsCollaborate with engineers and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycleSupport deployment, rollout, documentation, and knowledge transfer activitiesContribute to architectural discussions and technical design decisions Technical Skills & Experience Required 2-4 years of professional software engineering experienceStrong experience with Java, Kotlin, ReactJS, and AWSExperience building REST APIs and backend services using Spring Boot or similar JVM frameworksKnowledge of relational databases and schema migration practicesExperience with authentication and identity technologies including SSO, OAuth, OIDC, and OktaExperience with testing methodologies including unit, integration, and end-to-end testingUnderstanding of event-driven architectures, messaging, or notification systemsExperience working across both frontend and backend application development Preferred Experience developing enterprise SaaS applicationsExposure to reporting platforms, analytics dashboards, or visualisation toolsExperience with access controls, permissions, and audit loggingFamiliarity with CSV data processing and large-scale user targeting workflowsExperience delivering MVPs and transitioning solutions to internal engineering teams What We're Looking For Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work across backend, frontend, and integration layersExcellent communication and documentation skillsAbility to manage ambiguity and convert requirements into practical solutionsCollaborative mindset with a proactive approach to identifying risks and opportunitiesPassion for building reliable, scalable software products Why Apply?
