The Role An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join a high-performing team delivering complex data integration and software engineering solutions. As a senior technical leader, you will oversee software development activities, provide expert guidance to development teams and ensure the quality, performance and maintainability of solutions. The role is heavily focused on SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS), supporting enterprise ETL processes and large-scale data integration initiatives. Location: ACT or SA Initial Contract: Up to 12 Months Responsibilities Lead software and technical design activities for complex development solutionsProvide technical leadership and specialist advice to development teamsDrive software development, prototyping, testing and maintenance activitiesLead release planning, deployment and production support activitiesReview and analyse technical requirements and provide solution recommendationsInvestigate and resolve complex ICT and application issuesPromote software engineering best practices, standards and governanceSupport systems integration, configuration management and continuous improvement initiativesWhat Our Client Requires Essential Demonstrated experience using SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS) to implement batch data ingestion pipelinesExperience with BODS Script Transforms, Query Transforms, Validation Transforms, Database Extraction Functions, Database Load Functions, Address Transforms, Name Transforms and Real-Time ServicesStrong experience leading software development activities within complex enterprise environmentsExperience across software design, systems integration, release management and deploymentStrong stakeholder engagement and technical leadership capabilityBaseline Security Clearance Highly Desirable SAP HANA experiencePostgreSQL experienceIBM DB2 experienceTeradata experienceConfiguration management experienceTalented, committed, can-do individuals have always been the cornerstone of this dynamic organisation.
