Senior DevOps Engineer

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join its growing AI & Innovation team. This role will support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organisation’s next-generation AI Platform and Data Lakehouse, contributing to a multi-year digitalisation and transformation programme. We are looking for a hands-on and technically strong DevOps Engineer with solid experience in platform development, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, DevOps, and DataOps/MLOps, who is comfortable working across engineering, AI, data, and business teams. Key Responsibilities: AI Platform & Data Lakehouse: Develop, maintain, monitor, and automate platform operations supporting AI and data workloads.Platform Development & Integration: Develop services and integrate internal/external APIs, while supporting AI applications and data pipelines.Infrastructure & DevOps: Build and manage scalable infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD tools.Testing & Optimisation: Conduct PoCs, acceptance testing, performance monitoring, and evaluate new technologies to improve platform scalability and reliability. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.4+ years of experience in Platform Engineering / Platform Development.Strong hands-on experience with Python, Bash, SQL, Docker, Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes.Strong experience with Jenkins, Git, and Ansible.Proven experience delivering AI or Data Platforms within large-scale enterprise environments.Strong knowledge of DataOps / MLOps.Public cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or AliCloud is highly preferred.Exposure to Grafana, Prometheus, PyTest, Elasticsearch, LangChain, MLflow, Airflow, Spark, or Iceberg is advantageous.Experience within financial services or international teams is a plus.Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
