Location: Remote | U.S.-based
We're looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on Kubernetes experience to help build, manage, and improve the infrastructure supporting Pavilion's technology platforms.
This role goes beyond working with Kubernetes—we're looking for someone who has experience building, administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
You'll work closely with Product Development and IT to improve deployment processes, platform reliability, automation, and the infrastructure supporting our applications.
What You'll Do
Build, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes environmentsDevelop and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automationSupport GitOps-based deployment and infrastructure practicesTroubleshoot infrastructure, application deployment, networking, and platform issuesBuild and maintain cloud infrastructure and supporting servicesAutomate repeatable infrastructure and operational processesPartner with Product Development and IT teams on platform enhancements, deployments, and technical initiativesHelp improve the reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency of Pavilion's environments
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a similar infrastructure-focused roleSignificant hands-on experience building, administering, and maintaining Kubernetes clustersStrong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, operations, and troubleshootingExperience designing, building, or maintaining CI/CD pipelinesExperience working with GitOps principles and deployment workflowsStrong Linux and scripting experienceExperience supporting cloud-based infrastructureStrong troubleshooting skills with the ability to independently investigate complex infrastructure and deployment issues
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Kubernetes networking, configuration management, and secrets managementExperience with Helm and other Kubernetes deployment/configuration toolingExperience with Microsoft Azure and cloud networkingExperience with Infrastructure as Code and modern infrastructure automation practicesKubernetes, Azure, AWS, or other relevant cloud/infrastructure certificationsExperience supporting databases or other stateful workloads within KubernetesExperience in FinTech, payments, gaming, or another highly regulated technology environment
