Key Responsibilities
Build and ship production features with React, TypeScript, and Next.js across customer-facing web applicationsDesign reusable component systems and frontend architecture that support consistent interaction patterns and efficient product developmentIntegrate GraphQL and REST APIs, handling loading states, caching, errors, authentication, and optimistic updatesImprove application performance through code splitting, server-side rendering, bundle analysis, Core Web Vitals monitoring, and efficient state managementWrite unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, and PlaywrightPartner with product designers and backend engineers to refine requirements, evaluate tradeoffs, and deliver cohesive user experiencesReview code, document technical decisions, and contribute to standards for accessibility, security, observability, and frontend development workflows
What We Are Looking For
3–8 years of professional software engineering experience, including substantial ownership of production frontend applicationsStrong proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript and modern React development patterns, including hooks, component composition, and state managementHands-on experience with Next.js or a comparable React framework, including routing, rendering strategies, and frontend build toolingExperience integrating REST or GraphQL APIs and working effectively with authentication, asynchronous data, error handling, and browser storageDemonstrated understanding of web performance, responsive design, cross-browser behavior, semantic HTML, and WCAG accessibility practicesBachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experienceBonus: Experience with design systems, React Native, WebSockets, Storybook, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, or observability tools such as Datadog and Sentry
