Lead Engineer, DevOps and Test Infrastructure

We are looking for the right person to take our DevOps and Test Infrastructure to the next level. This position is a perfect opportunity if you want to be(come) an expert, investigate options, decide on solutions, and implement them. All while relying on expert colleagues across KONGSBERG for discussion and support. The position is part of the SW Architects group, which is responsible for all SW activities common across Seatex products and projects. What You Will Be Doing Drive further development and maintenance of our DevOps and testing environmentsCollaborate with IT and DevOps colleagues across KONGSBERGDevelop SW for products and infrastructureSupport SW developers on DevOps and testing challenges, and promote effective use of our SW infrastructure What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline, or equivalent practical experienceProven experience with DevOps and testingStrong SW development skillsExperience working with embedded SW and LinuxAn interest in, and practical experience with, applying AI to solve problemsFamiliarity with Docker or similar technologies What You Bring A practical approach to supporting SW developers and solving problemsThe ability to identify improvements and drive them forwardStrong collaboration and knowledge-sharing skillsA sense of ownership of the SW development infrastructureConfidence in contributing ideas and challenging existing ways of working Pre-employment check and security clearance This employment may require a pre-employment check procedure and security clearance in accordance with company security standards, role or site requirements.
