Full Stack Engineer

Full Stack Developer (React) — London ARC IT Recruitment · Central London, UK (Hybrid) Up to £60k + bonus | Hybrid, 2–3 days in office | React, Node.js, TypeScript We're recruiting for a small product team building one of the busiest, highest-traffic parts of a fast-growing marketplace tech business. You'd be one of five: two developers, a lead, someone from Product, someone from Test. The lead is one of the original founders of the product, so you're working directly with someone who actually built the thing rather than several layers removed from it. When they're off or stretched, you're the one who steps up — it's an actual number two role. The role starts front-end leaning in React, but it won't stay that way. Over time you'll move toward a proper 50/50 split with Node.js, and there's a mobile app on the roadmap you'd get to work on further down the line. The wider company is doing well — around 120 people, growing, and picking up smaller businesses along the way. It's a much bigger development org than a five-person team suggests, so you get small-team pace with real backing behind it. What we are looking for: Solid commercial React experience, comfortable with state managementHappy to work across the stack as the role grows — React, TypeScript, Node.jsUsed to fast-moving, high-traffic products where priorities shift quicklyStrong TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSSA good communicator — strong stakeholder management skills Any experience working within Ecommerce would be a huge plus!
