Our client, a leading multi-strategy hedge fund, is seeking a Platform Engineer to play a critical role in building and maintaining a world-class technology infrastructure environment.
This is a highly visible position with broad ownership across Linux infrastructure, CI/CD and DevOps tooling, software deployment, automation, platform resilience, and performance optimisation, directly supporting the firm's core trading platforms and engineering teams while driving the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of the technology stack.
The ideal profile will be a DevOps Engineer with at least five year's experience in financial services, strong expertise across modern DevOps tooling, cloud infrastructure, automation, and Linux environments.
The role offers significant exposure across the business, partnering with both technology teams and end users to design, maintain, and enhance resilient, scalable platforms while driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities and Impact:
Administer and support the firm's DevOps systems - Including but not limited to Puppet, Jenkins, GitHub, and SVNManage software compilation, deployment, and lifecycle management for the firm's core application platformsAdminister and automate the firm's Linux systems, including resource management, continuity and resiliency planning, security operations, and patching / upgrade lifecycle managementMonitor and troubleshoot core systems, identifying solutions to resolve issues and recommending changes to improve performanceSupport business and technology development teams with dependency resolution and software testing methodologies
