Their technology supports the full industrial lifecycle, helping businesses design, build, operate and optimise complex assets. The company is continuing to invest heavily in cloud technology, connected industrial data and AI, and is expanding its R&D engineering team in Cambridge. You’ll join an R&D team developing a modern platform that brings together industrial data, cloud technologies, microservices and AI-driven capabilities. What you’ll be doingDeveloping scalable applications and services using C#/.NETWorking within a microservices and Kubernetes-based environmentContributing to cloud infrastructure and automationWorking with distributed systems and modern application architecturesBuilding secure applications, including authentication and authorisationCollaborating with engineers across the UK and international teamsUsing modern AI/LLM developer tools as part of your everyday engineering workflowWhat we’re looking forAround 3–5 years of software engineering experienceStrong C#/.NET development experienceExposure to microservices and cloud-based systemsSome experience with Kubernetes, containers or Infrastructure as CodeGood understanding of APIs and distributed applicationsA broad engineering mindset and willingness to get involved across the stackComfortable using AI coding tools such as Codex or Claude
