The Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a Highspring delivery team and contribute to the design, development, and evolution of enterprise-scale backend solutions. This role is ideal for an experienced software engineer who thrives in cloud-native environments and enjoys building robust, scalable applications using modern Java technologies. What You'll Do Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.Build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.Participate in software architecture and technical design discussions.Develop event-driven solutions and integrations.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.Create and maintain automated unit tests using JUnit and related frameworks.Support application quality, performance, and reliability objectives.Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional stakeholders.Conduct code reviews and promote development best practices.Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps initiatives.Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across development processes.Participate in Agile ceremonies and team planning activities.
