Cloud Engineer

The Position As part of our growing company, we are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our team and contribute to ongoing client projects. As a Cloud Engineer, your main tasks will include: Designing, developing, and implementing scalable data platforms and cloud-native solutions within Azure and AWS environmentsDefining and designing end-to-end solution architectures based on business, information, application, and technical requirementsTranslating business and functional requirements into robust technical designsDesigning, building, and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud infrastructures for analytics, reporting, and operational applicationsCollecting, cleaning, transforming, and loading data from various data sourcesDeveloping Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and/or BicepSupporting cloud migrations and the modernization of existing data and application platformsWorking on innovative solutions within IoT, AI, and data-intensive environments Your Profile Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/WO) in an IT-related fieldExperience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure (experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform is a plus)Proficient in Python and SQL/T-SQLExperience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, AWS Glue, Amazon EMR, or similar cloud servicesKnowledge of CI/CD processes, DevOps principles, and Infrastructure as CodeExperience with Terraform and/or BicepExperience with Docker; knowledge of Kubernetes is a plusCoaching mindset and experience guiding engineers and development teamsAbility to operate at strategic, tactical, and operational levelsProactive attitude, strong sense of ownership, and organizational insightCurious mindset and eagerness to continuously learn and growLeadership skills within complex technical environmentsFluent in English Working Conditions Lease car with fuel cardPossibility of hybrid workingMonthly net expense allowance27 vacation days, with the option to purchase up to 10 extra vacation daysPension scheme with no personal contribution required Why choose ALTEN?
