Knowledge and skills Knowledge: [01] Hands-on experience in administration of complex monitoring systems deployed in non-heterogeneous and containerized environments including Cloud services [02] Expert in optimizing, tuning and planning of monitoring infrastructure [03] Experience in scripting on Windows Servers (PowerShell) [04] Hands-on experience in administration of MS Windows Servers and Linux Servers [05] Hands-on experience in administering virtual infrastructures [06] Experience in collaborating with multiple support groups Skills: [07] Good organizational and prioritising skills [08] Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL based change management, configuration management and release management processes [09] A proactive attitude, team-work spirit, being self-motivated with a strong user orientation [10] Good communication skills [11] Able to cope with fast changing technologies Specific requirements: 01] Experience with MS SCOM monitoring [02] Experience with Dynatrace monitoring [03] Experience with MP Studio and SquaredUp dashboards Typical tasks and responsibilities -Administering the infrastructure monitoring systems (such as Microsoft SCOM) - Monitoring the IT infrastructure consisting of different OS, applications, services and devices - Creating dashboards and alerts - Troubleshooting monitoring related issues - Deploying, upgrading and patching Microsoft SCOM and other monitoring systems - Capacity planning, tuning and optimisation - Updating the technical documentation and operating procedures - Providing 2nd line support to other IT teams and coordinating with 3rd line of support - Participation in coordination and project meetings - Other specific duties as assigned by supervisor
