About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at United IT. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the telecom domain and a solid background in IT. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions that support our telecom infrastructure. The candidate will work within an Agile environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including PHP, Python, NodeJS, and JavaScript, within a Linux environment, is essential. The role also requires expertise in BASH scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and database management with MySQL and MariaDB. The successful applicant will be a self-starter, capable of working independently and efficiently within a fast-paced, innovative setting, contributing to the continuous improvement of our technology stack. Qualifications Minimum of 5+ years of overall IT experience, with a significant portion in the telecom domain.Proficiency in PHP, Python, NodeJS, and JavaScript within a Linux environment.Strong knowledge of BASH programming and experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.Hands-on experience with MySQL and MariaDB databases, including query optimization and database design.Experience with jQuery and other front-end technologies.Ability to write comprehensive test cases and perform unit testing.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions tailored to telecom infrastructure needs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and automated deployment processes.Write efficient BASH scripts for automation and system management tasks.Optimize database queries and maintain database integrity for MySQL and MariaDB systems.Develop and execute test cases to ensure software quality and performance standards are met.Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, providing effective solutions.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices into development processes.
