Senior Engineer, Integrations | Hybrid | We're working with an established technology business that is continuing to grow its engineering team and invest heavily in its platform and technical capabilities. They're looking for a Senior Integrations Engineer to join their backend engineering team and take ownership of work across APIs, integrations and some exciting new technology initiatives. This is a role for someone who enjoys solving problems properly, has plenty of autonomy, and wants to have a genuine impact on the way a growing engineering team operates. The role You'll be working primarily on backend systems, building and improving integrations between the company's platform and external services. You'll have the opportunity to work across: Public and internal APIsThird party integrationsBackend services and infrastructureDeveloper toolingNew initiatives involving AI and emerging technologiesTechnical improvements across the wider platform There's no front end requirement. The focus is firmly on backend engineering, integrations and solving complex technical problems. What we're looking for We're particularly interested in engineers with strong experience across: Node.jsTypeScriptAWSMongoDBAPI and integration developmentBuilding and maintaining production backend systems You'll also be someone who: Takes ownership of problems from investigation through to deliveryIs comfortable working independently without needing everything defined for youEnjoys collaborating with other engineers and contributing to technical discussionsHas a practical interest in using AI tools to improve the way you workEnjoys learning and experimenting with new technologies The environment You'll be joining a close knit engineering team where you'll have plenty of opportunity to influence technical decisions and how things are done. The business is continuing to invest in its technology function, so there's scope to take on interesting projects, contribute ideas and grow with the team.
