Full Stack Software Engineer

Full Stack Engineer role We are partnered with an Investment Management business based in London, who are looking to hire a Full Stack Developer to join their technology team. This role sits within a key Engineering function, working on business-critical trading, research and pricing applications used across the firm. Key Responsibilities: Partnering with business stakeholders to understand workflows and translate requirements into clear technical scope and acceptance criteriaOwning assigned tasks and projects end-to-end, from discovery and solution design through development, testing, release, deployment and post-release supportDeveloping, enhancing and maintaining features across the Trading and Pricing applications, with a focus on reliable, maintainable solutionsContributing to technical design decisions alongside the Software Engineering team, ensuring alignment with architecture and engineering standardsBuilding and enhancing front-end features using ReactDeveloping back-end Python services and APIs using Django, integrating with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQLSupporting CI/CD pipelines and deployments using Azure and AWS services, Terraform and serverless functions Essential experience: 4+ years within an Investment Management or buyside related companyStrong hands-on experience with React, including component-driven development and modern UI librariesHands-on experience with Python and API developmentExperience with database integration using Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQLExperience with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflowsKnowledge of Azure App Service, serverless functions (Azure Functions or AWS Lambda), and terraform are nice to have.
