Location: Wasserbillig, Luxembourg (hybrid) Employment type: Full-time, permanent Seniority: Entry level / Associate Want to learn how IT works inside an investment firm, from cloud platform to DORA controls? Corentera Capital, a Luxembourg firm applying for CSSF authorisation, is expanding its IT team. Corentera Capital is an independent Luxembourg financial-services company founded by three principals from fund management. Under one roof we combine Corentera Invest (systematic and research-led investment management), Corentera Tech (fund-publishing infrastructure) and Corentera Research. Corentera Capital has applied to the CSSF for authorisation as an investment firm. The authorisation has not yet been granted; regulated investment services will only be provided once it has. You join as we move from application to regulated operations. THE ROLEWe are expanding our IT function. This is an early-career role for someone who wants to learn how IT works in a regulated financial firm: how systems are built and run, and how they are governed, documented and evidenced. You work alongside our Head of IT on the operation, security and documentation of our systems, adding the depth and continuity a regulated firm needs, with oversight from our compliance function. WHAT YOU WILL DO• Help run and improve our Azure platform (private networking, containers, PostgreSQL, identity-based access). • Operate and maintain our ICT governance processes within our ICT risk management framework: asset inventory, ICT third-party register, access reviews, change and incident records, and the supporting evidence. • Look after workplace IT: Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Defender, joiners and leavers, laptops. • Automate, and contribute to internal tools and Corentera Tech products (TypeScript, Python, Docker). WHAT YOU BRING• A degree or vocational qualification in IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • First professional experience in cloud, system administration or IT support (internships and apprenticeships count). • Basics of a public cloud (ideally Azure), networking and identity; some scripting and Git. • A real interest in IT governance, risk and security, and the habit of writing things down. • AI as an everyday tool, used with judgement and human review. • Fluent English. German is a plus. WHERE THIS ROLE CAN LEADDepending on your interests: cloud and platform engineering, information security, or ICT risk and governance.
