Senior DevOps Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will own the core infrastructure and delivery workflows that enable fast, safe releases in a regulated environment. You will partner closely with security and other stakeholders to strengthen compliance, improve reliability, and keep systems scalable as the business grows. The position is well suited to someone who enjoys building automation, creating operational discipline, and improving cloud efficiency. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 annually Responsibilities Own the build, test, and deploy pipeline to ensure fast and safe releases Make infrastructure reproducible through coded environments Define and meet uptime targets for banking customers, including monitoring and incident response Collaborate with security on compliance requirements like SOC 2 and audit logs Manage cloud expenditure to align growth with resource efficiency Qualifications 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles; experience as an early or solo infra hire preferred Deep fluency with AWS and infrastructure-as-code in production Experience building well-received CI/CD pipelines Strong opinions on observability; experience defining SLOs and managing incidents Comfortable in regulated environments or eager to learn compliance requirements, including SOC 2 and ISO 27001 Focus on automation and documentation Pragmatic understanding of scaling needs from small to larger companies Benefits Equity in the company Sponsored 401K plan Parental leave Fully paid health, vision, and dental insurance Unlimited PTO Remote work stipend Lifestyle stipend Twice-yearly company retreats Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
