Front-End Developer - Vue.JS & Typescript Location: Amsterdam Start Date: 1 October 2026 End Date: 1 October 2027 Hours: 36 hours per week Contract Type: Contract ZZP: Yes Language: English; Dutch is not stated as mandatory Level: Medior / Senior The Role We are looking for an experienced Front-End Developer to join a multidisciplinary technology team working on digital investment and trading applications within the Wealth Management domain. You will help develop and maintain business-critical web applications supporting portfolio insights, transactions and digital investment journeys for retail and private banking customers across several European markets. The environment is Agile, DevOps-focused and highly collaborative, with teams taking ownership of building, running and continuously improving their own software. Key Responsibilities Develop modern front-end applications using Vue.js and TypeScript Build and maintain investment and trading-related web functionality Take ownership of complex front-end components and features Contribute to technical and architectural decisions Ensure high standards around performance, accessibility, security and code quality Participate across the full development lifecycle, from refinement and design through to delivery and production support Work closely with backend engineers, UX designers, QA engineers, product owners and other stakeholders Improve development standards, automated testing strategies and engineering tooling Support and mentor less experienced developers Take ownership of applications and functionality within the team's scope Required Experience Minimum 3 years of relevant front-end development experience Strong experience with Vue.js, ideally Vue 3 Candidates with comparable experience in React, Angular or Svelte may also be relevant Strong JavaScript and TypeScript experience Experience with modern front-end development and testing tooling Technical Skills Experience with: Vue.js / Vue 3 TypeScript JavaScript Vite Vitest or Jest Playwright or Cypress CI/CD pipelines Azure DevOps Azure Experience within a complex or regulated environment, particularly financial services, would be advantageous. Profile You are comfortable operating within multidisciplinary Agile teams and demonstrate seniority through ownership, technical decision-making and collaboration. You communicate clearly, take responsibility for your work and enjoy continuously improving engineering practices and development standards. The team works according to Agile/Scrum principles with a strong DevOps mindset, giving engineers responsibility for building, maintaining and improving the software they own.
