Lead Process Engineer

We’re currently seeking a Lead Process Engineer to join our team, focused on designing, implementing, and testing production flows for timber prefabrication. This role will help turn design intent into scalable, reliable manufacturing processes and ensure smooth integration into production environments. Responsibilities: Designing production flows for timber prefabrication processes;Implementing and commissioning manufacturing processes and workflows within our lab facility facility in Belgrade, Serbia;Testing and validating production methods, equipment, and process performance;Developing process layouts, workflows, and operating standards;Optimising manufacturing steps to improve quality, speed, and material efficiency;Collaborating with design, robotics, manufacturing, and site teams;Ensuring production processes comply with relevant EU industry standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations;Identifying process risks and implementing practical improvements;Supporting equipment selection, testing, commissioning, and process validation;Creating clear documentation for production methods and procedures;Driving continuous improvement across prefabrication operations. Expertise: Strong experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or industrial engineering;Understanding of production flow design, process implementation, testing, and optimisation;Knowledge of EU industry standards, manufacturing compliance requirements, and workplace safety regulations;Familiarity with quality management and continuous improvement methodologies;Ability to translate design and engineering requirements into practical production processes;Experience with CAD tools, process mapping, and layout planning;Strong problem-solving skills and attention to quality, safety, and efficiency;Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment;Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Wood Technology, or a related field.Experience with timber construction, prefabrication, modular construction, or related manufacturing environments would be a strong plus but is not required.
