Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Develop software responsible for the durability and availability of key-value metadata for a massive distributed storage system. • Tackle complex computer science problems related to managing trillions of objects and handling wildly varying access patterns. • Build and own highly available, 7x24 worldwide services, ensuring systems meet exacting customer standards. • Participate in a regular on-call rotation to resolve issues, with a focus on minimizing disruptions. • Contribute to the development of next-generation systems for a leading cloud storage service. • Design and implement scalable, reliable, and flexible web services. What You'll Need • 3+ years of professional software development experience. • 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling. • 1+ years of experience in designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, or distributed software applications using languages like C#, C++, Java, or Perl. • 1+ years of experience with Object-Oriented Design. • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
