About The Role We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team at the Mönchengladbach location, near Düsseldorf. This full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our digital transformation initiatives within our project management team at Scheidt & Bachmann Signalling Systems GmbH. As a Salesforce Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing Salesforce solutions that deliver tangible business value. Your expertise will help streamline processes, automate workflows, and integrate Salesforce with external systems, thereby supporting our goal to modernize and digitalize our business operations. This role requires a proactive mindset, technical proficiency, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a relevant university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification. You should have at least two years of professional experience in developing and configuring Salesforce solutions, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects. Salesforce certifications such as "Platform Developer I" and "Platform App Builder" are essential. You should have strong technical skills in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex programming, Salesforce Flows, and data modeling. Experience with REST API integrations, Git version control, Salesforce CLI, and familiarity with Python is highly advantageous. Excellent communication skills in both German and English, along with a valid work permit for the EU, are required. Additionally, a collaborative attitude, problem-solving skills, and a user-centric approach are vital for success in this role. Responsibilities Develop innovative Salesforce solutions utilizing Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex controllers, and triggers based on user stories and business requirements.Transform manual processes into efficient digital workflows by implementing low-code automation using Salesforce Flows, enhancing overall operational efficiency.Configure and customize the Salesforce platform, including designing data models, user interfaces, and setting up roles, permissions, and sharing rules to ensure secure and tailored access.Develop integrations with external systems through REST APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange and process automation across platforms.Implement event-driven processes utilizing Platform Events to enable real-time data updates and system responsiveness.Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and fellow developers to understand requirements, plan solutions, and deliver high-quality results.Utilize modern development tools such as Salesforce CLI, Git, and Visual Studio to facilitate efficient coding, version control, and deployment processes.Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high standards of quality and maintainability of solutions.
